Specola Hanger
Hand-wrought and enameled copper coat rack. Like the handles, plates and lamps of the same name, the coat racks are also part of the larger Specola collection, named after the historic Paduan astronomical observatory. They are made with the technique of hot enamel on copper, the complexity of which is due to the unpredictability of the action of fire on glass powders, which when subjected to heat take on brilliant shades. The design is by Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto, who relied on Incalmi's many years of research in this field.
